Job Descriptions:
    • Collect and label samples such as blood, urine, stool, and tissue from patients following proper protocols.
    • Prepare specimens for testing, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
    • Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests, including hematology, biochemistry, microbiology, and serology.
    • Operate and calibrate laboratory equipment to maintain accurate results.
    • Record and analyze test results accurately in laboratory systems.
    • Maintain and update patient records and laboratory documentation.
    • Clean, maintain, and sterilize laboratory equipment and workspaces.
    • Monitor inventory levels of reagents, supplies, and consumables, and report shortages.
    • Follow laboratory safety protocols, including handling hazardous materials and maintaining a clean work environment.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines for laboratory operations.
    • Work closely with healthcare providers, providing timely and accurate test results.
    • Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues to facilitate efficient laboratory operations.
    • Stay updated on advancements in laboratory techniques and technologies.
    • Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
Job Requirements:
  • Diploma or degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field.
  • Governmental Exit Exam Certificate
  • At least 3 years of clinical experience in a related unit.
  • Demonstrated understanding of hospital management issues and the ability to lead and train others in hospital management responsibilities.
  • Good interpersonal manner and the ability to build relationship with clinic directors and managers for the purpose of performance improvement.
  • Computer literacy skills in standard office programs (MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Team player and capacity builder.
  • Flexible, with a positive attitude and able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
