Position Overview:
The Project Manager will provide strategic, technical, operational, and managerial leadership for the implementation of the Project.
The position will ensure effective program delivery, donor compliance, quality assurance, safeguarding implementation, coordination with stakeholders, and achievement of project targets while maintaining survivor-centered approaches.
The Project Manager will supervise project staff, ensure integration of health and psychosocial interventions, strengthen referral pathways, and oversee reporting and monitoring systems.
Duties & Responsibilities of Project Manager:
Under the general guidance of ACDEO’s Executive Director/Country Representative the Project Manager will perform the following substantive duties and responsibilities:
A. Program Leadership and Management
- Lead implementation of project activities across all centers.
- Develop detailed implementation and operational plans.
- Ensure achievement of project indicators and targets.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely corrective actions.
- Conduct regular field visits and provide technical supervision.
B. Technical Oversight
- Provide technical leadership on SRHR, reproductive health, MHPSS, and referral systems.
- Ensure quality standards for counselling and health consultations.
- Guide implementation of survivor-centered and confidential service approaches.
- Strengthen integration between clinic services and referral pathways.
C. Team Management and Capacity Building
- Supervise field teams and center staff.
- Facilitate staff induction and continuous learning.
- Support performance management and coaching.
- Promote staff well-being and professional development.
D. Monitoring, Reporting and Accountability
- Oversee monitoring systems and indicator tracking.
- Review narrative and reports to donor and other stakeholders.
- Ensure quality data collection and documentation.
- Lead project review and learning processes.
E. Coordination and Representation
- Coordinate with Donor and relevant stakeholders.
- Strengthen referral pathways with health facilities and service providers.
- Participate in coordination meetings and technical forums.
- Represent ACDEO professionally.
F. Compliance and Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with donor requirements and ACDEO policies.
- Oversee safeguarding, PSEA, confidentiality, and ethical standards.
- Support financial oversight and budget monitoring.
- Identify operational risks and mitigation measures.
