Job Descriptions:

The Male Medical Doctor (MD) is responsible for providing quality curative, preventive, and promotive healthcare services to patients at Sapary SHC in accordance with BPHS, MoPH, and SAFE project standards. The incumbent will diagnose and treat patients, manage emergency cases, support public health activities, and ensure proper medical documentation and patient care.

Duties & Responsiblity:

  • Diagnose and manage outpatient medical cases according to national treatment guidelines.
  • Provide medical consultation and treatment to patients of all age groups.
  • Prescribe medications rationally and according to standard protocols.
  • Manage emergency and critical cases effectively and timely.
  • Refer complicated cases to higher-level health facilities when necessary.
  • Support maternal, newborn, and child health services.
  • Coordinate with nurses, midwives, and other clinical staff to improve patient care.
  • Participate in immunization, nutrition, and health promotion activities.
  • Follow infection prevention and control (IPC) standards and procedures.
  • Ensure safe medical practices and proper waste management.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and professional ethics.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
  • Prepare daily and monthly medical reports as required.
  • Ensure proper documentation of referrals, diagnoses, and treatments.
  • Support supervision and mentoring of junior clinical staff if assigned.
  • Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and technical sessions.
  • Coordinate with health facility staff to improve service quality.
  • Participate in outreach and emergency response activities when required.
  • Follow BPHS, MoPH, and SAFE project policies, guidelines, and procedures. 
  • Maintain respectful and professional communication with patients and colleagues. 
  • Perform other related duties assigned by the supervisor
Job Requirements:
  • MD degree from a recognized medical university.
  • Valid medical license from relevant authorities. 
  • At least 4 years of relevant clinical experience preferred. 
  • Good knowledge of BPHS services and national treatment protocols.
  • Experience in primary healthcare services preferred.
  • Basic computer and reporting skills are an advantage.
