Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Project and Provincial Managers, the Community Mobilizer will be responsible for community mobilization of the IRW-AF project in Kunar Province.

Duties and Responsibilities:
· The Community Mobilizer is responsible for surveys, identification of the beneficiaries, facilitating distribution, and conducting DRR Training consulting prerequisite activities to reduce disaster risks.
- The community mobilizer is responsible for beneficiary identification, screening and selection through the KOBO and given questionnaires.
- Mobilize the community and beneficiaries and provide them with awareness regarding the project activities.
- Support the team in planning and organizing community awareness, campaigns, and community mobilization sessions.
- Engage and mobilize community members in one to one and group sessions.
- Conduct awareness training regarding DRR and conduct information campaigns on the field according to the communities’ knowledge levels.
- Prepare work plans, schedules, and reports for all activities.
- Help build the capacity of community organizations by collectively voicing for their prioritized needs, organizing community meetings proceedings and maintaining records.
· Implement the project activities and ensure safe delivery of the activities as per the project implementation plan.
- Monitor the progress of community members participating in programs and provide regular feedback to the project team.
- Assist in Monitoring and reporting on the participants' progress, success stories, and challenges.
- Support the project team in preparing final reports, including lessons learned and recommendations for future interventions.
- Appropriately planning for visibility of IRW-AF activities in the field.
- Regular field visit from the project site.
- On time reporting on the overall activities being undertaken at the field level to provincial manager.
- Monitoring and supervision of the activities at the field level and sharing the findings with the field coordinator and relevant staff for improvement.
- Any other tasks assigned by the line supervisor.
