RESPONSIBILITY SUMMARY
The Training Coordinator for operations functions will be responsible for identifying training needs and mapping out development plans for participating NNGO/CSO partners and ensuring that they are provided the appropriate training support. Training Coordinator will be responsible for managing, designing, developing, coordinating, and conducting all trainings related to operations functions (Finance, Procurement, and Human Resources) to the NNGO partners within the SHAPE TPP in collaboration with the Head of Program and Twinning Team. The Training Coordinator will also work with external trainers and consultants, and other agencies in the conduct of training activities. The regular working hours are from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., including lunch break, from Sunday through Thursday, or as scheduled during travel, and as noted in the Human Resources Policy Manual.
ESSENTIAL TASKS

- Develop pre- and post- tests, training evaluations, and other training review methods with assistance from MEAL
- Assess participant learning performance and identify needs for additional specialized or adaptive instruction
- Maintain records of completed training.
- Deliver and refine training for in-person classes, workshops, webinars, virtual sessions for groups and individuals
- Develop and implement an effective training coordination strategy for the programme across in two outcomes.
- Work with the Head of Program and SHAPE Twinning Program Plus Team includes Remote Managers and all other relevant staff. Support the implementation of all ACBAR training activities by working closely with internal and external trainers/consultants;
- Work with Head of Program to establish a pool of qualified training consultants;
- Support the Head of Program in hiring training consultants for the programme in close collaboration with the HR department.
- Design workshops and develop training modules where needed:
- Design each training to be culturally identifiable to the context; ACBAR’s programs, and for the participants attending the training;
- Design training material, methodology, training guides and reporting templates in closed collaboration with the Remote Managers and Senior MEAL Officer;
- Deliver the trainings in quality, and focus on building the capacities of participating NNGOs and CSOs.
- Co-facilitate trainings alongside other assigned trainers
- Lead the development of training manuals for ACBAR that will be the basis for adapting the training curriculum to the participating NNGO/CSO’s needs
- Ensure timely and quality reporting by submitting a monthly summary report highlighting training, lessons learned, and challenges, and recommendations including success highlights, feedback from participants, and recommendations for ACBAR’s SHAPE TPP (sent to the Head of Programme).
- Work along with MEAL and Remote Managers to undertake Organisational Capacity Assessment (OCA) and evaluations of training activities and assist in the analysis of results
