Duties and Responsibilities:
· Assist in the development and provision of psychosocial activities to UASC, and street working children, and other children at risk.
· Provide psychological support (one on one or group counseling) to the project target groups
· Undertake the social investigation about each individual child case and ensure that all related information is collected properly through reliable sources.
· Conduct training for the community on psychological child development and parenting skills, etc.
· Provide counseling training and technical counseling support to social workers, volunteers, community structures, CFS facilitators directly involved with the psychosocial component of the project.
· Develop and implement psychoeducational programs focusing on topics such as anger management, stress reduction, self-esteem building, and coping skills.
· Monitoring the child-friendly spaces for ensuring adequate child protection services.
· Ensure timely implementation of psychosocial support activities for affected children.
· Coordinate services to beneficiaries with other organizational entities involved in psychosocial and mental health services.
· Conduct home visits to assess individual psychosocial needs.
· Conduct weekly awareness raising session for caregivers.
· Develop a plan to follow up the referred cases.
· Compile monthly and quarterly counseling reports on the referred cases and provide the best solutions to cases.
Perform any other professional duty assigned to the supervisor.
