Coordination of Humanitarian Assistance (CHA) is a non-governmental, non-profitable, and non-political Afghan NGO, working since 1987 mainly in agriculture, health, education, and infrastructure sectors in more vulnerable areas of the country. Job Descriptions:

Deliver practical and theoretical training on silk thread reeling and dyeing techniques.

Demonstrate proper silk cocoon preparation, thread extraction, reeling, twisting, and winding.

Train participants on natural and chemical dyeing techniques, including color preparation and application.

Ensure proper use and maintenance of training equipment and tools.

Train participants on quality control, color consistency, thread strength, and proper storage.

Promote safe working practices and appropriate handling of dyes and chemicals.

Assess participants' skills and provide feedback and technical guidance.

Maintain training attendance, progress, and assessment records.

Coordinate with the project team on training schedules, materials, and beneficiary needs.

Perform other duties related to the training as assigned.

 Perform other relevant duties assigned by the organization.

Job Requirements:

Candidates with proven practical experience and strong hands-on technical skills in sericulture and silk production will be given preference.

Diploma or relevant technical qualification in silk production, textile processing, dyeing, handicrafts, or a related field.

At least 3 years of practical experience in silk thread reeling and dyeing.

Previous experience as a trainer or instructor is highly desirable.

 Strong practical knowledge of silk processing and dyeing techniques.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work with women and men from diverse communities.

 Ability to conduct practical demonstrations and provide hands-on technical coaching.

Willingness to travel frequently to project locations. Good documentation and reporting skills.

Fluency in Dari, Pashto and English, with working knowledge.
