Main Responsibilities:
1. Plan, organize, and facilitate structured and unstructured psychosocial, recreational, social, educational, sports, arts, crafts, and occupational activities for patients.
2. Organise group activities adapted for persons with different skills and abilities that promote social interaction, teamwork, communication, confidence, and meaningful engagement.
3. Support patient active participation in daily activities and report any visible behavioral changes to the clinical team.
4. Support awareness and well-being activities designed by the MHPSS team to promote healthy coping, self-care, and social inclusion.
5. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly activity schedules aligned with recovery objectives.
6. Monitor attendance, participation, and engagement in activities and report any significant behavioral, emotional, or protection concerns to the counsellor or clinical team.
7. Identify individuals who may require specialized mental health, psychosocial, protection, or other services and refer them according to established procedures. Follow-up on referred cases.
8. Maintain activity records, attendance lists, and routine reports on implemented activities.
9. Ensure all activities are implemented in line with principles of dignity, safety, inclusion, protection, and gender sensitivity.
10. Coordinate closely with the counsellor, MHPSS Technical Supervisor, and other rehabilitation staff to ensure integrated service delivery.
11. Participate in trainings, supervision sessions, and capacity-building activities as required.
12. Do any other assigned duties related to the provision and coordination of MHPSS services from the direct supervisor and line manager.
