Job Descriptions:
  • Support implementation and monitoring of internal financial control systems to ensure compliance, transparency, accountability, and fraud prevention across all financial operations.
  • Review financial transactions, payment requests, procurement documentation, payroll records, advances, settlements, and supporting documents for compliance with policies and donor requirements.
  • Conduct periodic spot checks, verification visits, reconciliations, and internal reviews of financial records and field transactions.
  • Identify financial risks, control weaknesses, irregularities, duplicate payments, unsupported expenditures, or non-compliance issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support development and implementation of financial risk mitigation measures and audit preparedness systems.
  • Maintain internal control checklists, monitoring reports, compliance trackers, and corrective action plans.
  • Coordinate with finance, procurement, HR, and compliance teams to strengthen financial governance and accountability mechanisms.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Audit, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in internal control, audit, compliance, or financial monitoring.
  • Strong understanding of segregation of duties, financial risk management, and donor compliance.
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills.
  • English excellent, Dari and Pashtu fluent.
