Job Descriptions:

Manage organizational tax compliance and ensure timely processing of all tax-related obligations in accordance with Afghan tax laws and donor regulations.
Prepare and submit tax calculations, withholding taxes, salary taxes, vendor taxes, and government filings.
Maintain tax records, receipts, declarations, tax exemption documents, and compliance files.
Coordinate with government tax authorities regarding filings, audits, clarifications, and legal requirements.
Review financial transactions and contracts to ensure correct tax deductions and compliance with applicable regulations.
Support payroll tax calculations, vendor payment verification, and tax reconciliation processes.
Monitor changes in national tax laws and advise management and finance teams on implications for organizational operations. Support donor audits and financial reviews related to taxation.
Ensure confidentiality and secure filing of tax documentation.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Law, or related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of tax management or accounting experience.
Strong understanding of Afghan tax regulations, withholding tax systems, and NGO compliance requirements.
Strong analytical and documentation skills.
English excellent, Dari and Pashtu fluent.
