About CRDSA:

Coordination of Rehabilitation and Development Services for Afghanistan (CRDSA) is a not-for-profit, non-sectarian and non-political humanitarian organization that was established in 2002 by a team of Afghan volunteers interested in serving afghan vulnerable people. CRDSA is providing services for Afghan people in sectors of Sustainable Livelihoods, Civil Society Strengthening, Returnees/IDPs Re-integration and Protection and Human Rights Promotion. Presently, CRDSA is operating in 3 provinces of Afghanistan including Herat, Ghor,and Badghis. Currently, CRDSA is implementing a UNICEF funded project in Herat province (Injil district and Herat city villages) for a duration of six months. the project will provide accredited Digital Skills, Literacy and Numeracy training to youth and adolescents in the targeted districts. 

Job Descriptions:
  • Develop a detailed project work plan, schedule, and milestones in line with the approved proposal.
  • Oversee the delivery of all project activities, including digital skills training, literacy and numeracy classes, and life-skills sessions.
  • Ensure that training quality, inclusivity, and gender-sensitive approaches are applied consistently.
  • Monitor progress towards targets, ensuring 800 youths/adolescents are enrolled and training is delivered effectively.
  • Identify and mitigate operational or technical challenges to maintain project timelines.
  • Lead and supervise all project staff, including trainers, coordinators, officers, and support staff.
  • Assign roles and responsibilities, monitor performance, and provide guidance and mentorship to ensure high-quality delivery.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and ensure effective communication among staff.
  • Ensure staff compliance with safeguarding, PSEA, and organizational policies.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with UNICEF, local authorities, community leaders, and other partners.
  • Facilitate coordination with the private sector and local organizations to enhance training relevance and employment opportunities for graduates.
  • Represent the project at relevant meetings, workshops, and coordination forums.
  • Oversee collection and analysis of project data and ensure accurate, timely reporting to the donor.
  • Ensure effective monitoring tools are in place to track trainee attendance, performance, and learning outcomes.
  • Conduct periodic field visits to assess implementation quality and address challenges proactively.
  • Prepare monthly, mid-term, and final reports highlighting achievements, challenges, lessons learned, and recommendations.
  • Ensure proper utilization of project funds and resources according to organizational and donor policies.
  • Monitor expenditures and ensure financial reporting is timely and accurate.
  • Coordinate procurement of training materials, equipment, and logistical needs.
  • Ensure all activities adhere to UNICEF guidelines, organizational standards, and local regulations.
  • Uphold gender-sensitive, inclusive, and child-safe approaches throughout the project.
  • Promote ethical conduct, transparency, and accountability among staff and stakeholders.
Job Requirements:
  • Strong leadership, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Knowledge of monitoring and evaluation methodologies for education and training programs.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Fluency in Dari and/or Pashto; English proficiency is an asset.
  • Computer literacy, including MS Office and project management software.
  • Commitment to gender equality, inclusivity, safeguarding, and ethical standards.
