Job Descriptions:
  • The PSCC In-charge is responsible for the following:
  • Responsible for the day-to-day management of PSCC in the respective Regional/ Provincial/District Hospitals and ensuring PSCC objectives are achieved.
  • Provide health/medical assistance at PSCC to clients.
  • Provide psychosocial support to the women at PSCC, including psychological first aid (PFA), and referral to any other available services (health, specialized, mental health, psychosocial support, etc.) following the guidelines.
  • Represents organization and strengthened coordination with hospital management team and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure quality reports and on-time submission to provincial and MHPSS technical manager.
  • Ensure that PSCC staff follow the guiding principle during service provision and keep the client’s information and that ethical practices are always followed.
  • Supervision of data collection officer and PSS counselor and will support as per need.
  • Responsible for managing the client flow and management of the PSCC.
  • The PSCC in charge will update the medicine, medical supplies, and other stock cards daily and will raise purchase requests for the needy supplies of the PSCC and submit them to the logistics department for further process.
  • PSCC in charge will develop a monthly activity plan and will lead the PSCC staff in the implementation of the plan.
  • The PSCC in-charge is responsible for the rational use of resources in line with organization and donor approved policies.  
  • Attending all relevant planned and ad hoc meetings/workshops requested by the supervisor.
  • Based on the request of the authorized person, attend, and participate in all relevant meetings/training-related meetings for the program's purpose.
  • Any others task assigned by close Supervisor.
Job Requirements:

•     Medical Degree (MD) from a recognized and accredited university.

•     Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience as Medical Doctor (MD), Clinical In-Charge etc.

•     Experience in Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) is an added advantage.

•     Fluent in Dari and Pashto; working knowledge of English is a strong asset.

•     Proven experience in team leadership and managing healthcare teams.

•     Ability to recognize, support, and address psychological burnout among staff.

•     Strong ability to work under pressure in demanding environments.

•     Good English language proficiency (spoken and written).

•     Basic computer literacy is preferred.

•     Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team.
