Job Description:

  • Act according to the SROA policy.
  • Manage and oversee the planning, direction, and coordination of both medical/health and administrative services within the hospital.
  • Engage actively in regular meetings with the Hospital Community Board, take appropriate actions based on the board’s feedback, and foster strong community relations.
  • Implement and monitor human resource policies and other relevant guidelines, ensuring they are properly followed in the hospital.
  • Implement MoPH and organizational policies and procedures related to hospital services.
  • Supervise and evaluate the work of medical, nursing, technical, clerical, and other personnel within the hospital.
  • Analyse hospital activities and data for planning, budgeting, and service utilization improvement.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise staff members, ensuring adequate staffing levels and promoting professional development.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives to achieve the hospital's goals and objectives.
  • Participate in provincial public health coordination committee meetings and prepare monthly/quarterly reports on hospital activities.
  • Any other tasks assigned by his supervisor
Job Requirements:

Job Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in public health (or a related field) and 5 years of experience managing health services delivery (or a bachelor’s degree and 10 years of experience). 
  • Fluent in English and local languages (Pashto and Dari).
  • Familiarity with computers (MS Office, Excel) and English language skills is preferable.
  • Excellent communication skills are required.
