ROLE PURPOSE: ROLE PURPOSE: The role holder is responsible for undertaking the project training, He/She will coordinate closely with Partners and key stakeholders, regularly supervise the field team, and plan the capacity-building sessions for IPs, the role holder will be expected to work outside the normal role profile and be able to vary working hours accordingly.
• KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:
• Plans whole year training schedule and renders relevant support to partners staff in training plan implementation
• Prepare and share the training delivery plan in coordination with Education Field coordinator and partners
• Capacity building officers (CBOs) are responsible for delivering high quality trainings to partner trainers and staff (ToT)
• Undertake regular supervisory visits and assess the impact of training on the learning and development of partner staff, identify training gaps/needs, and or areas of improvement, document best practices and lessons learnt
• Support partners staff in cascading all key trainings packages to CBS, ECCD, Remedial teachers and SMC (School Management Committee) members
• Supervising the work of partners trainers and CBS teachers/mentors and or facilitators and assisting them in quality delivery
• Monitor and provide technical advisory to the work of partner staff at provincial and district level
• Provide work plan and quality progress reports to Project Manager and provincial education coordinator on bi-weekly and monthly basis
• Capacity building officer ensure the collection of project data are in collaboration with partner staff
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with partners and other key stakeholders
• Support partnership team in partner capacity assessments of new potential Local and National NGOs (non-government organisations) under education
• Conduct field visits and collect firsthand data from partners about project progress and challenges
• Ensure safer partnership practices and safeguarding at field
• Take initiative in bringing appropriate improvement in respect to Partnership (such as development of new tools and trackers etc...)
• Assist the partner staff with administrative, documentation and other duties as needed.
• Ensure that all data trackers are up to date and make sure the data in the shared drive are up to date.
• Establishing a comprehensive file system to record and keep track of all project activities documents in soft copies.
• Use monitoring checklists on each visit and prepare the bi-weekly and monthly reports based on checklists.
• Submission of monitoring report from each activity through EPTS system and ensure the partner’s staff submission.
• Maintain close coordination with relevant stakeholders.
• Any additional task as per office requirement or by line manager
