Job Descriptions:
  • Monitor and control access to offices, warehouses, residences, and project sites.
  • Ensure all entry and exit points are secure and appropriately monitored.
  • Supervise and schedule security guards/watchmen at all relevant facilities.
  • Conduct routine inspections of perimeter security, gates, lighting, and CCTV systems.
  • Monitor local security developments and assess risks that may impact staff and operations.
  • Maintain contact with local security agencies, community leaders, and INGO security networks.
  • Provide regular updates and security alerts to staff.
  • Respond immediately to security incidents (e.g., theft, break-ins, unrest) and ensure timely reporting.
  • Maintain an incident logbook and support investigations where required.
  • Prepare and submit daily or weekly security situation reports.
  • Conduct security briefings and induction for new and visiting staff.
  • Support safety training such as fire drills, emergency evacuation, or personal security awareness.
  • Ensure all staff are aware of emergency contact numbers and procedures.
  • Implement the organization’s security standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure compliance.
  • Support the development and updating of security risk assessments and contingency plans.
  • Assist in the development and enforcement of vehicle movement protocols and communication systems (e.g., radio, mobile tracking).
  • Monitor the security of vehicles and ensure parking and movement are conducted safely.
  • Report and track any vehicle-related incidents or suspicious activities.
  • Ensure that generators, fuel, and high-value assets are well-secured and recorded.
