Job Descriptions:
  • Oversee daily operations of the PHC/SHC, including patient flow, clinical services, and support functions.
  • Ensure implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and national treatment protocols.
  • Monitor the availability of essential medicines, equipment, and supplies.
  • Supervise medical and non-medical staff at the facility.
  • Identify staff training needs and coordinate appropriate capacity-building activities.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide mentoring.
  • Ensure quality and timely reporting of health data (HMIS, DHIS2).
  • Monitor patient satisfaction and address complaints.
  • Lead internal audits and quality improvement plans.
  • Liaise with the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH), local health authorities, NGOs, and community representatives.
  • Represent the health facility in coordination meetings as required.
  • Coordinate emergency response and referral mechanisms.
  • Oversee facility-level budgeting, petty cash, and financial documentation.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of infrastructure and utilities.
  • Submit timely administrative and logistics reports.
Job Requirements:

master’s degree in public health (or a related field), and 15 years of experience in health programs management in developing countries
