Thus, we have an established specialized network in many provinces of the country in order to design, and implement related activities in the field of food security, research, capacity building, disaster management, and placement.

Job Descriptions:

· Conduct topographic surveys using Total Station, GPS, Auto Level, and other surveying instruments for structures such as check dams, trenches, ponds, terraces, and watershed areas.

· Collect and record accurate field data required for the design and implementation of watershed management structures.

· Support the engineering team by providing detailed survey drawings, coordinates, and elevation data for design and planning purposes.

· Prepare base maps, contour maps, and cross-sections using GIS and CAD software to aid in the design and monitoring process.

· Mark and layout the exact locations and dimensions of structures like check dams, ponds, and terraces in the field according to the design.

· Calculate earthwork quantities and material estimates required for excavation, filling, and construction activities.

· Monitor the progress of construction work and ensure the implementation is as per the approved layout and survey data.

· Assist in site supervision by verifying levels, gradients, slopes, and alignments during the construction of watershed structures.

· Prepare and maintain detailed survey reports, field books, and documentation for each site.

· Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and community members to ensure survey accuracy and smooth execution of the project.

· Participate in training workshops, meetings, project events held in any provinces.

· Visit project sites and monitor all activities

· Respect and adore all policies of KRO code of conduct

· Maintain 100% transparency and accountability

· Any other task assigned by management

Job Requirements:

1.At least Bs degree in Survey or civil engineering (Higher degrees are preferred);

2. Minimum 4 years’ experience in topographical survey.

3. Having work experience NGO/INGO will be preferred;

4. Must be familiar with civil 3D/ AutoCAD, GIS, GPS, Total Station, Level Machine and MS office;

5. Have the familiarity at English will be preferred and must be excellent to local languages;

6. Have the ability to work for long hours and under pressure.

7. Excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work in a team-oriented environment.
