Muslim Hands International - Afghainstan obtained formal registration from the Ministry of Economy in Afghanistan with registration No. 141 in 2005 and is now firmly established with its Headquarters in Kabul with operational coverage in the country. MHI in Afghanistan is fully engaged in relief and development activities in different parts of the country. The work of Muslim Hands involves; improving the lives of the poor and vulnerable through the provision of assistance.

This commitment is greatly valued in Afghanistan, where access to quality healthcare is limited. Our health services in Afghanistan include Basic Package of Health Services (BPHS) such as Mother & Child Health, Community Health Services, Immunization, Antenatal & Postnatal Care, Family Planning, psycho-social Counseling, laboratory and ultrasound services, Health education, provision of medicines, Medical Camps Management, TB treatment, free medicines, and referral system to major government hospitals for complex cases. We also provide emergency and post-emergency medical services to marginalized communities in the country.
The health/medical program at Muslim Hands International - Afghanistan aims to align with the organization's overall goals while maintaining and expanding existing programs. The Mother Kind Clinic (MKC), located in the Pol-e-Charki area of Kabul, is a key project supported by MHI. This clinic offers comprehensive maternity care, including gynecological services, pre and postnatal care, and psychological support to mothers in the surrounding areas. In addition to the services outlined, the clinic goes above and beyond to meet the needs of its patients.
