Experience and mandatory criteria:
· University Degree
· Minimum 4 years’ work experience working with and managing humanitarian projects (preferably child protection)
· Minimum 3 years’ relevant work experience in MEAL and Safeguarding preferably experience with INGOs, UN, or donors in Afghanistan.
· Experience in Leading and facilitating relevant training
· Experience in designing tools and approaches for data collection, able to analyze qualitative and quantitative data and production of reports;
· Proficient and experience in report writing, documentation and working with databases
· Knowledge and experience in project management and PCM
· Experience in leading a team
· Must be able to communicate effectively in English (written and oral).
· Must be able to travel to the project sites and other provinces
· Computer skills, including Microsoft Office Packages
· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
· Able to work independently with little supervision
· Able to work under pressure, to tight deadlines, and with competing priorities.
· Strategic perspective and keen to take ownership of monitoring and evaluation functions, challenges, and solutions.
