Job Descriptions:

Afghan German Bakhtar Railway Road Building Constriction company is seeking a qualified and experienced Site Manager The position is for the full duration of the road construction project, including mobilization, construction execution, and project close-out activities. Site Manager will report directly to the Project Manager and coordinate closely with engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and site support teams.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise all daily site activities related to the road construction project.
  • Coordinate effectively between engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, suppliers, and construction crews.
  • Ensure all construction works are executed according to approved drawings, technical specifications, and project schedules.
  • Monitor productivity and efficient utilization of equipment, machinery, manpower, and materials.
  • Ensure quality standards, safety requirements, and project progress targets are achieved at all stages of construction.
  • Identify and resolve daily site issues, technical challenges, and operational constraints.
  • Coordinate site logistics and construction sequencing to avoid delays and interruptions.
  • Monitor work progress and prepare daily and weekly site activity reports for submission to the Project Manager.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and proper implementation of safety measures on site.
  • Support the Project Manager in achieving project objectives within approved time and budget limits.

 Conditions of Employment

  • Full-time site-based assignment throughout the project duration
  • Required to maintain regular presence at all active construction areas
  • Must ensure proper coordination and discipline among site personnel
  • Compliance with project quality, safety, and environmental procedures is mandatory
  • Responsible for maintaining accurate site records and reporting systems
  • Subject to periodic performance evaluation by the Project Manager
  • Employment may be terminated in case of poor performance, negligence, or misconduct

  • Familiarity with construction schedules, quality standards, and HSE requirements
  • The candidate should be speak And write Pashto, Dari fluent  and English
