Job Descriptions:

Job Purpose:

Coordinate and strengthen Community-Based Health Care interventions across districts.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee recruitment and training of CHWs.
  2. Conduct regular field supervision visits.
  3. Monitor community-level health indicators.
  4. Support community mobilization activities.
  5. Ensure integration of CBHC with facility services.
  6. Organize refresher training for CHWs.
  7. Validate and compile CHW monthly reports.
  8. Promote health awareness campaigns.
  9. Strengthen referral and feedback mechanisms.
  10. Report CBHC performance to provincial management.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's in Public Health.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of CBHC experience.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Fluent in English, Pashto, and Dari with excellent speaking and writing skills.
  • Proficient computing skills – word processing, spreadsheet design, and presentations.
  • Other skills required:

  • Efficient, result-oriented, and excellent management capabilities.
  • Ability to identify project weaknesses and gaps and to take corrective action.
  • Ability in problem-solving and conflict resolution.
  • Capacity to perform effectively under pressure and harsh conditions; ability to handle.
  • confidential and politically sensitive issues responsibly and maturely.
  • Excellent capacity development and teamwork skills; cross-cultural and gender sensitivity.
  • Ability to travel throughout the country.
  • Respect the confidentiality of the organization.
