The Business Development & Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and increasing brand awareness across all service lines of Phenomenal Consultancy.
This role combines strategic planning, active sales execution, customer acquisition, and relationship management for Taxation, Accounting, QuickBooks Online / Desktop services, and QuickBooks training programs.
Duties & Responsibilities
Business Development & Growth Strategy
- Develop clear sales and business development strategies for:
- Taxation & Tax Advisory services
- Accounting & Bookkeeping services
- QuickBooks Online / Desktop services
- QuickBooks training & certification programs
- Define target markets, pricing positioning, and value propositions for each service.
- Create short-term and long-term sales plans aligned with company objectives.
- Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and referral channels.
Sales Execution & Revenue Generation
- Actively sell consultancy services through direct meetings, calls, proposals, and presentations.
- Generate leads through networking, digital platforms, referrals, and cold outreach.
- Prepare and negotiate commercial proposals, quotations, and contracts.
- Close deals and ensure smooth handover to operations and finance teams.
- Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Lead Management & Sales Pipeline
- Build and maintain a structured sales pipeline for all service lines.
- Track leads from inquiry to closure and post-sale follow-up.
- Maintain accurate records of prospects, clients, and opportunities.
- Forecast revenue and provide sales projections to management.
Marketing, Promotion & Brand Awareness
- Collaborate with management to design sales-driven marketing campaigns.
- Promote services via:
- Facebook, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, and professional networks
- Workshops, seminars, and training sessions
- Represent the company in business meetings, events, and client presentations.
- Support the creation of sales materials, company profiles, and pitch decks.
Training Programs Sales & Corporate Deals
- Sell QuickBooks training programs to individuals, companies, NGOs, and institutions.
- Secure corporate training contracts and bulk enrollments.
- Coordinate with trainers to align schedules and client requirements.
- Upsell training services to existing accounting and taxation clients.
Client Relationship & Retention
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities across services.
- Handle client concerns professionally and ensure satisfaction.
- Encourage referrals and repeat business.
Reporting, Targets & Performance Monitoring
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales and business development reports.
- Monitor KPIs including:
- Sales revenue per service line
- Conversion rates
- Client acquisition cost
- Training enrollments
- Provide data-driven recommendations to management.
