The Community Mobilizer will support outreach, awareness, and mobilization efforts to ensure effective community participation in project activities.
1. Community Engagement & Awareness
- Mobilize community members, elders, religious leaders, and parents to participate in project activities.
- Support and coordinate to 144 elders the community awareness sessions on child protection, prevention of family separation, positive parenting, hygiene promotion, and Kafala alternative care.
- Build trust and strong relationships with the community for effective project implementation.
2. Support to CFS/TLS Operations
- Assist CFS facilitators and WASH teams during daily activities, outreach, and preparation.
- Identify vulnerable children and families needing support or referral to SCI case management teams.
- Promote inclusion of girls, children with disabilities, and marginalized populations.
3. Beneficiary Identification & Registration
- Support identification of:
- Children attending CFS
- Children receiving winterization kits
- Children receiving TLM/recreational materials
- Households benefiting from hygiene promotion and EORE
- Assist in maintaining accurate beneficiary lists and updates.
4. Hygiene Promotion & EORE Support
- Support facilitators and WASH staff in conducting hygiene promotion sessions for 2,000 children.
- Assist delivery of EORE/EORE awareness using cluster-approved materials.
- Encourage safe behaviors among children and community members.
5. Monitoring, Reporting & Feedback
- Participate in MEAL activities, including surveys, attendance tracking, and feedback collection.
- Report challenges, community concerns, and progress updates to the Project Officer.
- Maintain confidentiality and accurate documentation.
6. Safeguarding & Code of Conduct
- Ensure full compliance with CBHDO and SCI Child Safeguarding and PSEA policies.
- Report any safeguarding concerns immediately.
- Uphold professionalism and ethical conduct at all times.
