Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in surveying, particularly in road construction projects.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geomatics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of surveying principles and practices.
Proficient in the use of surveying equipment, including Total Stations and GPS technology.
Comprehensive knowledge of construction methods, safety regulations, and risk management.
Proficiency in MS Office, Civil 3D, and project scheduling software.
Fluency in Dari or Pashto, with a working knowledge of English.
Must be an Afghan national and male (as per current field requirements).
Key Responsibilities
Conduct field surveys for road, bridge, and Retaining walls using modern instruments (Total Station, GPS, Level).
Prepare accurate topographic maps, alignment profiles, and survey data reports.
Verify and cross-check project site levels, layout plans, and coordinates.
Ensure all survey data complies with technical specifications and design requirements.
Coordinate closely with engineers, site supervisors, and project managers to ensure accurate implementation.
Assist in the preparation of as-built drawings, progress reports, and verification documents.
Maintain calibration and proper functioning of all survey instruments and tools.
Conduct routine site visits to confirm work measurements before payments and claims.
