Aseel Technology is hiring a Project Coordinator for our 50 Afghan Women in Tech Leaders Program Fellowship Cohort 3 to work with one of our program partners. The role is explained in detail as follows:
Overview:
The IT Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects by coordinating resources, schedules, and communications across stakeholders. This role ensures that IT initiatives, ranging from infrastructure upgrades to software implementations, are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with organisational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Coordination & Support
- Assist in the planning, scheduling, and execution of IT projects under the guidance of Project Managers.
- Develop and maintain project documentation including timelines, task lists, status reports, and meeting minutes.
- Track project deliverables and ensure deadlines are met.
- Coordinate project resources, including internal teams, external vendors, and contractors.
2. Communication & Stakeholder Management
- Act as a liaison between IT teams, business units, and external partners.
- Facilitate project meetings, prepare agendas, and distribute progress updates to stakeholders.
- Escalate project risks, issues, or delays to the Project Manager for resolution.
3. Process & Quality Control
- Support adherence to project management methodologies, standards, and best practices.
- Monitor project budgets and expenditures, ensuring alignment with approved plans.
- Conduct quality checks on project deliverables to ensure compliance with business and technical requirements.
4. Technical & Administrative Support
- Assist with testing, deployment, and documentation of new systems or software.
- Maintain records of IT assets, licenses, and project-related documentation.
- Provide administrative support for project procurement, vendor contracts, and invoices.
