Job Descriptions:

The Senior Project Implementation Officers will be responsible for the project implementation on provincial level and as well as providing technical support to the project team. He/she will be closely working with local community members, local authorities, partner organizations, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Community coordination and sensitization at targeted locations/ communities.
  • Assess, identify, and select eligible beneficiaries from returnees, IDPs, and the most vulnerable host communities according based on the prior selection criteria.
  • Conduct assessments to identify vulnerable children and families in target areas and assess their needs.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to identify winter needs in target communities and develop appropriate programs that address these needs in the target communities.
  • Provide technical support to the field team in community coordination and mobilization.
  • Build strong relationships with local partners including government agencies, NGOs (Non-Governmental Organizations), donors, etc., for effective program delivery.
  • Facilitate the distribution of kits to the selected eligible beneficiaries' families.
  • Assist the Senior Project Coordinator in developing and designing training materials for development support training that include PSS, parenting education, community mobilization etc.
  • Make sure timely implementation of project activities as per the plan.
  • Make sure timely inputs in organizing supplies are sent out to the field staff.
  • Follow up with the beneficiaries and provide technical support in business development and market linkages.
  • Monitor project activities closely to ensure compliance with program objectives; collect data on project outcomes; analyze impact; prepare reports on project progress; present findings when required by management.
  • Assist PQAL/ M&E in data collection and promotion of the CRM system.
  • Assist PQAL in post-distribution monitoring exercise.
  • other tasks assigned by the project manager and WCC management.
Job Requirements:

Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in development studies, Economics, Business Administration, Social Work, Law, or another relevant technical field.
  • Master’s degree in relevant field will be preferred.

Experience:

  • At least 4 Years of working experience with I/NGOs in project management in protection and mine action sectors.
  • Capacity to work efficiently within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong ability to work independently.
  • Available to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Good Communication and interpersonal skills including reporting writing.
  • Good knowledge of community development especially working with children, women and families.
  • Excellent problem solving and presentation skills.
  • Flexibility and ability to work under pressure and meeting of deadlines.
  • Culture sensitive and respect for local norms.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy of the cases.
  • Willingness to travel and stay in remote areas and inhospitable environment.
