Job Descriptions:

Ariana Medical Complex – IT Internship Program

Ariana Medical Complex is offering an IT internship designed to provide a recent graduate with hands-on experience in a corporate IT environment. The intern will support the IT team in technical and administrative tasks, gaining exposure to hardware, software, network administration, IT security, and user support best practices.

Objectives of the Internship

  • Provide the intern with practical, real-world IT experience.

  • Offer exposure to IT infrastructure, technical support processes, and project management.

  • Support the IT team in delivering efficient and timely services to staff.

  • Enhance the intern’s technical knowledge, problem-solving, and communication skills in a professional setting.

Scope of Work & Duties

Under the guidance of the IT Administrator or a designated supervisor, the intern will perform the following:

1. Hardware & Software Support

  • Provide daily on-site assistance to end-users on hardware and software issues.

  • Assist with installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems and peripherals.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to hardware/software.

2. Network Administration

  • Monitor network performance and assist in resolving basic connectivity issues.

  • Support the maintenance of LAN/WAN systems and related applications.

  • Assist with user account requests and network access permissions.

3. IT Security & Data Management

  • Assist in maintaining desktop and network security (antivirus updates, security measures).

  • Participate in system backups, data management, and file organization.

  • Support the implementation of data protection and security protocols.

4. Documentation & Reporting

  • Contribute to the preparation of user guides, documentation, and IT procedures.

  • Help track IT assets and maintain hardware/software inventory.

  • Support report preparation and data consolidation.

5. IT Projects & Automation

  • Assist in evaluating new technologies and participate in pilot projects.

  • Provide support in automation initiatives to improve efficiency.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications and requirements

  • Education:  Recent graduate (Within 1 Year) of a university degree program in Computer Science or Information Technology.
  • Experience:
    • Some prior exposure to an IT support environment is beneficial.
    • Familiarity with hardware and software installation and troubleshooting.
  • Technical skills:
    • Knowledge of computer systems, Microsoft Office applications, and basic networking concepts.
    • Basic understanding of network and system security principles.
  • Soft skills:
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer service focus.
    • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
    • Adaptability and a willingness to learn quickly.
