• Assist senior engineer in compiling reports on tendering and negotiation procedures as required in order to support the implementation of planned VAS initiatives.
• Provide support in maintaining records of appropriate suppliers that fulfill Etisalat standards for Core Services Development.
• Arrange sessions of new technologies, systems and developments in telecommunication service advancement.
• Compiles and presents technical/ operational reports for superiors as required.
• Handling day-to-day operations of VAS Operations.
• Organize meetings and other ad-hoc requirements.
• Facilitate the department by preparing required documents regarding VAS.
• Coordinating with concerned department for information sharing.
• Deliver inputs for new projects in department.
• Manage VAS related cross-functional projects.
• Provide report to management regarding the project status and progress.
• Participate in identifying departmental training needs.
• Doing the configuration in the VAS systems both in front and back ends.
• Working closely with Technical Subscriber Management for issues and complaints related to VAS services and solving them on time and based on the agreed SLA.
• Doing daily monitoring and SOP of VAS Systems (SMSC, iVAS, OTA, WAP-GW, …) in terms of HW availability and utilization, OS alarms and logs.
• Creating and updating detailed diagrams of VAS systems and their interconnections and interfaces with other systems in the network.
• working with Senior Engineer VAS and vendors in troubleshooting of issues related to VAS systems.
• Participating in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) with RA, Vendors and Commercial teams.
• Showing a good spirit of teamwork within the team, department, division and with whole organization and as well as with vendors and partners.
• Being responsive during weekends and holidays to calls and urgent meetings.
• Keeping CRs, Tickets, SOP files and tracking sheets up to date.
