Summary:

The Master Trainer is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality training programs for teachers, education staff, and community educators. The role ensures that training content aligns with national education standards and project objectives. The Master Trainer also supports capacity building, conducts training needs assessments, and evaluates the effectiveness of training sessions. They play a key role in improving teaching quality and learning outcomes across the education program.

Job Description:

  • Design and develop training materials, manuals, and modules for education staff. 
  • Conduct Training of Trainers (ToT) and direct training sessions for teachers and facilitators. 
  • Assess training needs through consultations and field observations. 
  • Ensure training content is inclusive, gender-sensitive, and context-appropriate. 
  • Provide technical support and mentoring to trainers and education staff post-training. 
  • Monitor training implementation and gather feedback for improvement. 
  • Document training attendance, evaluations, and outcomes for reporting.
  • Collaborate with project staff to align training activities with project objectives. 
  • Stay updated with new education approaches, tools, and curriculum updates. 
  • Submit timely reports and recommendations to supervisors.

  • Having at least a Bachelor’s degree in Educational Planning, Educational Leadership& Management, Education, Social Science, Sociology, Psychology, or any other relevant field.
  • Having at least 2-3 years’ experience from an accredited college or university and having a master degree will be preferred.
  • Required Languages – Excellent Pashto and Dari reading, writing, and verbal skills, Fluent in English, reading, writing, and verbal skills.  
  • Enough experience in designing and delivery of training.
  • Experience in preparing session plans for the short-term capacity-building training.
  • Excellent interpersonal Skills and ability to work under stress to meet the objectives of the assignment.
  • Ability to establish good relations with all stakeholders.
  •  To have hands-on experience in computer programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Photoshop), other multimedia software, internet, and e-mail skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, Pashto, and Dari languages.
  • Excellent writing, reading, and speaking skills in English, Dari, and Pashto languages.
  • Strong typing skills in English and local languages.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve organizational goals
