Job Summary
The National Architect will be responsible for the site survey, sketch and drafting the site plan, working on the implementation stage of the drawing. Have ability for holding the professional training for the heritage renovation and conservation trainee. Ensuring that all aspects of the renovation and conservation of the project meet the required quality standards and specifications. Will develop and implement quality control processes and procedures, conduct inspections and tests, and collaborate with project stakeholders to address any quality-related issues.
Duties & Responsibilities
· Carry out initial surveys, assessment and documentation of heritage and other building projects
· Produce restoration drawings and 3d models for all stages of the project, from initial concepts to final detail drawings
· Carry out architectural research related to relevant projects
· Assist with writing and illustrating a variety of documents for presenting building projects
· Review and provide input to drawings produced by the engineering team
· Develop and maintain drawing and documentation systems including for AutoCAD drawings, building standards, and other standards
· Performing 2D and 3D drawings and modelling (Auto CAD, Sketch up and Revit)
· Assist with community engagement and meetings with stakeholders as needed
· Support with overseeing on-site work and assist with any other tasks as directed by the supervisor
