We are seeking a qualified and experienced WASH Engineer to lead the planning, design, and implementation of water, sanitation, and hygiene infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting technical assessments, preparing detailed engineering designs, overseeing construction activities, and ensuring that all interventions comply with relevant humanitarian standards and local regulations. The WASH Engineer will work closely with field teams, local authorities, and community members to ensure the sustainability and effectiveness of WASH services, particularly in vulnerable and underserved areas.
Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant post-graduate experience in WASH projects is required, including implementation of solar water supply networks, field supervision, community engagement, and coordination with NGOs or INGOs. Prior experience in delivering Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) or similar work is an asset.
