Job Descriptions:

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain anesthesia equipment and supplies before and after surgeries
Assist the anesthetist in administering anesthesia and monitoring patient vital signs
Monitor and document patient responses during procedures
Maintain sterility and follow infection prevention and control (IPC) guidelines
Ensure the availability of emergency drugs and equipment
Check anesthesia machines and monitors for proper functioning before use
Safely handle and store all anesthesia-related drugs and materials
Record anesthesia care data accurately and maintain confidentiality
Respond promptly to anesthesia-related emergencies
Provide support during patient recovery from anesthesia
Participate in regular ward rounds and shift handovers (night duty)

Job Requirements:

Qualifications and Experience

Diploma or degree in Anesthesia Technology or a related health field from a recognized institution
At least 3 years of experience as an anesthesia technician in a hospital or surgical setting
Familiarity with anesthesia equipment, medication, and safety protocols
Ability to handle emergencies calmly and efficiently
Strong understanding of patient safety and IPC principles
