Job Summary:
The Media Officer is responsible for Capturing Professional Videos, pictures and editing Videos through Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effect, and also he/she must have the ability to edit pictures, posters, banners, stand banners and other kinds of organizational posters through Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Corel Draw and other editing software.
The organization’s media presence, including creating, coordinating, and distributing content across multiple platforms to ensure the effective communication of the organization’s messages and initiatives. This position involves a combination of strategic planning, content creation, media relations, and maintaining strong relationships with media outlets.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Professional Videography & Photography:
Operate professional cameras to capture high-quality photos and videos of events, projects, and organizational activities.
Understand lighting, framing, and camera settings to produce visually compelling content.
Maintain a well-organized archive of all media files, including photos and videos.
2. Video Editing (Adobe Premiere Pro & After Effects):
Edit and enhance video content using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects to produce professional-quality videos.
Add visual effects, motion graphics, and animations to improve storytelling and audience engagement.
Ensure all video content aligns with the organization’s branding and messaging.
3. Graphic Design & Image Editing:
Edit and enhance images using professional design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Corel Draw and Illustrator.
Design posters, banners, stand banners, and other promotional materials for organizational use.
Ensure that all graphic content aligns with the organization’s branding guidelines.
4. Media Strategy & Planning:
Develop and implement a media strategy aligned with the organization’s goals.
Maintain a detailed annual, monthly, weekly, and daily media plan, ensuring consistent communication across all platforms.
5. Content Creation & Management:
Produce high-quality content for the organization’s website, social media channels, newsletters, and other communication platforms.
Write press releases, articles, and reports, and prepare promotional materials as needed.
6. Media Relations:
Act as the primary point of contact for media inquiries.
Manage the organization’s press conferences, briefings, and interviews.
7. Monitoring & Reporting:
Monitor media coverage and analyze its impact on the organization’s image and goals.
Track and report on media coverage, including preparing regular media reports.
8. Event Coverage:
Coordinate media coverage for events, workshops, seminars, and other activities.
Ensure all events are documented and that images, videos, and other media assets are properly archived.
9. Digital Media Management:
Oversee the organization’s social media presence and digital campaigns.
Engage with followers and stakeholders on social media platforms to enhance engagement and visibility.
10. Coordination & Collaboration:
Work closely with other departments to ensure media materials align with organizational priorities.
Collaborate with external media agencies and stakeholders to promote the organization’s work.

- Experience with video and photography editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro).
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of media trends and effective communication strategies.
