Job Description:

Manage ordering, proper stocking, rational use of drugs, recording and issuing the medications, medical materials and medical equipment and provide advice for medical stocks and also Train MDS, RUD in monthly supervision of health facilities in province and he will work under the direct supervision of Project Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1.  Supervise and train health facilities staff on HMIS system
  2. Collect, compile and analyze the HMIS data and submit monthly HMIS reports
  3. Monitor, analyze and verify the data obtained by health facilities staff
  4. Participate in coordination and HMIS meetings
  5. Supervise OPD, and provide on the job training about HMIS to all technical staff.
  6. Assist in medical records keeping with responsible staff.
  7. Prepare monthly, quarterly, annually and end of grants reports
  8. To liaise with PHD HMIS department and MoPH HMIS related department.
  9. Assists in client and patient satisfaction surveys.
  10. Establish patient admission data base.
  11. To present all HMIS activities at the project and HFs levels  through the bar chart and line chart (monthly base, quarterly base and annual base)
  12. Develop deferent HMIS tools for monitoring of HFs and prepare them feedback,
  13. Analyze monthly report of HFs and provide them feedback
  14.  Conduct on the job training for BPHS.
  15. Organize monthly HMIS review meeting for health facilities staff.
  16. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
  17.   Prepare of monthly monitoring work plan of HFs.

To Monitor the progress of health facility in term of HMIS  activity report

Job Requirements:
  1. MD Degree from a recognized university
  2.  Experiences on HMIS programs and BPHS for at least 3 years
  3. Strong communications skills
  4. Computer literacy specially in data base
  5. Ability to communicate in written and oral English, Pashtu, Ozbek and Dari languages.
  6. Proficient computing skills – word processing, spreadsheet design and presentations.
  7. Who has the ability in data management provide support on technical and management issues.
