Job Descriptions:

Job Summary: The Finance Officer will be responsible for management of fiance related activities including developing a financial plan,  managing budgets, preparing reports, and conducting transactions.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops and maintains financial systems
  • Plans, directs, and controls accounting and financial operations
  • Prepares reports and documents covering accounting transactions for management review
  • Ensures that accurate records are kept by standard practices
  • Establishes budgets, forecasts future cash flows, provides periodic financial analysis
  • Monitors budget performance, expenditure control
  • Manages invoicing procedures to collect money owed by clients/customers
  • Preparing staff monthly salaries, perdiem, travel cost, allowances, incentives, and other staff claims with close cooperation of finance manager timely
  • Prepare the project related financial reports,
  • Recording all vouchers prepared on timely manner.
  • Keep proper record of requests, approvals, work plans, budgets, other documents
  • Develop and implement a Financial Management System
  • Technically support and monitor admin and procurement to fulfill the organization’s  rules and regulations. 
  • Ensure that all financial management components of the projects are implemented according to the USO and Donor rules and regulations.
  • Identify financial errors and provide appropriate recommendation to the admin and procurement section.
  • Any other related duty assigned by supervisor
Job Requirements:
  • The incumbent should be graduated from economic faculty or having BBA from a recognized university.
  • At least one (2) years work experience in the similar capacity
  • Good command of written skill in National languages (Dari and Pashto) is required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of English language is desirable.
  • Very good communication and negotiation skills.
  • Financial management experience is required. 
  • Fluency in written and spoken Pashto, Dari and English.
  • Excellent computer skills (MS Office)
  • Able to work under pressure and independently.
  • Strong team work skills.
  • Demonstrated abilities to take initiatives, build consensus and make things happen.
