Job Summary: We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Production Pharmacist (Pharm-D) to join our dynamic team at a well-established pharmaceutical company in Kabul. The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of relevant experience in a pharmaceutical production setup, particularly in sterile injectable manufacturing. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the production of high-quality, life-saving medications in a regulated environment.

Purpose & Scope of the Role: The Production Pharmacist will be responsible for ensuring the accurate, efficient, and compliant manufacturing of pharmaceutical products according to GMP standards and company SOPs. This includes overseeing the production process from raw material preparation to the final product, maintaining documentation, and ensuring product quality and operational safety.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and complete the Production Sheet and Requisition Sheet for each batch.
2. Verify and counter-check the quantities and weights of raw materials issued from the store.
3. Ensure cleanliness and dryness of all equipment and tools before use.

4. Inspect production areas, machinery, and personnel for compliance with hygiene and safety protocols.
5. Accurately weigh and mix all active ingredients, preservatives, and additives as per the Master Formula Record (MFR).
6. Oversee all manufacturing processes to ensure strict adherence to SOPs and quality standards.
7. Monitor and maintain proper labeling, identification slips, and batch control slips throughout the production cycle.
8. Submit request slips to the Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) departments for batch approval.
9. Maintain detailed and accurate records of in-process materials and batch documentation.
10. Ensure proper sanitation and hygienic conditions are maintained in all production areas.
11. Keep and update the In-Process Record Book for all batches.
12. Support audits and inspections by regulatory authorities and internal QA

- A Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm-D) degree from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience in sterile injectable production in a regulated pharmaceutical environment.

- Solid understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and pharmaceutical regulations.
- Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team and under pressure.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to product quality and safety.
