Job summary:
IT workshop Rep is responsible for IT Workshop unit which repair to desktop computers, laptops, UPS, and occasionally repair a range of peripherals, including input devices (like keyboards, mice, and scanners), output devices (displays, printers, and speakers), and data storage devices such as internal and external hard drives.
IT workshop Officer will report to IT Workshop Officer; General / Deputy Manager IT operations.
Job Description:
- Responsible to the overall workshop activities related to repair New Kabul Bank hardware such as desktop computers, laptop, displays, UPS, scanners, printers, copiers and other IT related hardware as per rules and regulations.
- Provide assistance to IT officers at branches by phone to assist them in repairing branch hardware.
- Conducting regular visits to branch offices in Kabul to perform regular hardware maintenance as per need.
- Training IT Officers in regards to hardware and Knowledge sharing with fellow team members.
- Conduct data recovery procedures whenever required.
- Accurately document instances of hardware failure, repair, installation, and removal.
- Responsible for the implementation of hardware disposal policy.
- Assist in developing long-term strategies and capacity planning for meeting future computer hardware needs.
- Support development and implementation of new computer projects and new hardware installations.
- Troubleshoot issues timely and in accurate fashion, and provide end user training and assistance whenever required.
- Implement IT Work Shop related policies in effective manner.
- Can be officially assigned to Monthly Procurement team and control as per need.
- Any other task assigned by direct supervisor.
