Job Summary:
A Core Network Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, optimization, and maintenance of the core network infrastructure that supports voice, data, and multimedia services. This plays a critical role in ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance of the core network elements such as routers, switches, and gateways. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to support new service deployments, troubleshoot network issues, and enhance network efficiency.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Maintains core network CS/USPP/IMS/STP products (important).
- Be familiar with the commissioning, debugging, cutover, and acceptance of CN products.
- Be familiar with technical support and troubleshooting during engineering maintenance.
- Handles the faults escalated from the front line of CN products. (Management service)
- Upgrades the faults that cannot be handled by the second line of the core network to the third line of technical support. (Management service).
- Performs preventive maintenance of core network products. (Management service)
- Provide optimization suggestions or solutions in accordance with CN problems. (Management service)
