Job Description:
JOB SUMMARY
This role involves managing collections, purchasing, preparing payroll, and creating cashbooks using spreadsheets. The Finance Officer will ensure accurate financial records, timely reporting, and adherence to financial regulations and guidelines.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Preparing financial reports on a monthly basis according to a predetermined schedule and when requested by ANOD.
- Preparing payroll distribution forms for employees.
- Calculating salary taxes and following the necessary procedures with government authorities, including tax clearance.
- Generating financial reports for the Ministry of Economy and other relevant departments, if necessary.
- Providing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for project donors.
- Participating in bid comparison meetings.
- Managing financial documents using a dual-entry system and maintaining them in software.
- Collaborating with administrative staff to prepare monthly cash forecasts.
- Utilizing QuickBooks software for financial documentation.
- Performing additional financial tasks as directed by supervisors.
- Ensuring compliance with ANOD policies for all activities of the National Organization of the Deaf.
