2. Key Responsibilities
Monitoring & Evaluation Duties
· Develop and implement project monitoring and evaluation frameworks, plans, and tools.
· Collect, verify, and analyze quantitative and qualitative data from field activities.
· Conduct regular monitoring visits to project sites and provide feedback to staff.
· Ensure data quality, accuracy, and timely reporting.
· Support preparation of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
· Document lessons learned, best practices, and success stories.
· Provide technical support and capacity building to project staff on M&E practices.
· Maintain organized filing systems for M&E data and reports.
· Ensure compliance with organizational policies, donor requirements, and safeguarding standards.
· Track project indicators and compare achievements against targets.
· Maintain and regularly update M&E databases and tracking systems.
· Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual M&E reports.
· Develop tables, charts, dashboards, and other data presentations for program review meetings.
· Support program teams in developing appropriate indicators and data-collection tools.
· Provide feedback to field teams and health facilities on data quality and program performance.
Coordination & Communication
· Work closely with program teams to integrate M&E into project planning and implementation.
· Support project management in decision-making through evidence-based recommendations.
· Coordinate with external stakeholders, partners, and donors on M&E matters when required.
· Contribute to organizational learning and knowledge management initiatives.
3. Reporting Line
· Reports directly to Program/Project Manager
· Provides technical input to senior management and donor reporting units
4. Qualifications
· MD, Public Health or related field
· Minimum 3 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation with NGOs/INGOs
· Strong knowledge of M&E methodologies, tools, and data management systems
· Excellent analytical, reporting, and communication skills
· Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and data analysis software
· Familiarity with Kobo Toolbox and ODK applications for data collection and management
· Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality
· Languages: Intermediate English; fluent in Pashto and Dari
