About AHADO:

Afghans Humanitarian Aid and Development Organization (AHADO) is a non-government, non-profit humanitarian social welfare organization. AHADO established in October 2013 and registered with Ministry of Economy (MoEc), through license Number 3053. AHADO based in Kandahar and delivered humanitarian and development projects in various regions of the country including southern, central and northern regions. Implemented projects were in various sectors of child protection, community education, gender equity, WASH, health/hygiene, capacity building, livelihood and advocacy. Job Descriptions:

Job Summary

It’s a fulltime job and the position holder would work six days/week. The Admin/Finance Officer is responsible for the sound planning; coordination and implementation of project admin and finance affairs in his/her respective tasks. Admin/finance officer is responsible for timely provision of admin and finance facilities and support including office infrastructure and utilities for day to day management of the projects affairs, organizing of the proper, suitable and safe venues for conduction of the capacity building activities, transportation of the Teaching and Learning Material from the center of province to each TLSs, preparation of projects staff attendance sheets and payments of their salaries, in consultation with UNICEF transfer teachers’ salaries through digital online systems. He/She would report to Provincial Coordinator & Head of Programs and would work closely and manage the activities of the projects support staff e.g. guards, drivers, cook and etc.

Key Responsibilities:  

  • § Actively participate in the trainings, project orientation sessions and other capacity building activities organized by AHADO and UNICEF.
  • §  Establishment of project provincial offices and provision of all required infrastructures essential for day to day’s activities of the projects
  • §  Establish warehouse for proper storing of the TLMs and project other equipment’s.
  • §  Plan and manage the safe transportation of TLMs and project other supplies to the field and TLSs.
  • §  Develop and regularly update project inventory list.
  • §  Organize proper and safe venues for the conduction of capacity building trainings for the project staff, teachers and SMSs.
  • §   Provision of the projectors, stationery and refreshment for the trainings, capacity building and awareness sessions.
  • §  Prepare staff payrolls and delivery of their monthly salaries.
  • §  In consultation with the Finance Manager and UNICEF transparent delivery of teacher’s salary through available and approved digital systems.
  • §  Manage and lead the daily activities of the project supporting staff.   
  • §  Perform any other admin and finance tasks requested by the finance manager and programs coordinator.
  • Monitoring:
  • §  Monitoring the proper transportation of TLMs and project inventories to the project offices and TLSs
  • Monitor and supervise the performance of the project supporting staff. 
Job Requirements:
  •     The applicant must have Bachelor Degree from the Faculty of Economics or other related field and Master is preferred.
  •          3 year proven experiences in financial affairs management
  •         Proven experiences in administrative activities.
  •          Familiar with the HACT and humanitarian services principles.
  •          Proven work experiences in finance departments of NGOs and UN agencies, is a plus.
  •          Able to travel to Helmand, Nimroz and Zabul Provinces districts.
