Qatar Red Crescent – Afghanistan Office is seeking a qualified and experienced Finance Manager to lead and oversee the office's financial operations, budgeting, reporting, compliance, and audit activities.
Key Responsibilities
The Finance Manager will be responsible for:
- Leading and managing all financial and accounting operations of the Afghanistan Office.
- Preparing and monitoring annual budgets and project budgets.
- Producing monthly, quarterly, annual, and donor financial reports.
- Ensuring compliance with QRC financial policies, donor regulations, and internal controls.
- Managing bank accounts, cash operations, financial reconciliations, and accounting records.
- Coordinating internal and external audits and ensuring timely implementation of recommendations.
- Monitoring project expenditures and financial performance.
- Providing financial advice and support to management and project teams.
- Supervising finance staff and supporting their professional development.
