Job Descriptions:

The Internal Medicine Specialist is responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing adult patients with a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions. The role involves providing high-quality patient care, coordinating with other specialists, and ensuring evidence-based medical practices within the hospital.

Job Requirements:

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and manage a broad range of medical conditions affecting adult patients
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations
  • Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans and follow-up careInterpret laboratory tests, imaging, and other diagnostic results
  • Provide outpatient and inpatient consultation services
  • Collaborate with other specialists for comprehensive patient management
  • Manage chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and cardiovascular conditions
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient records
  • Educate patients and families on disease prevention, treatment plans, and lifestyle modifications
  • Adhere to hospital policies, clinical protocols, and patient safety standards
  • May require on-call duties, shifts, and emergency coverage

Qualifications & Requirements

  • MD or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution
  • Specialization in Internal Medicine (MD, FCPS, or equivalent)
  • Valid medical license to practice
  • Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to interpret laboratory and diagnostic data
  • Excellent communication and patient management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
