Job Summary:
The Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Officer is responsible for designing and implementing the monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning (MEAL) system of the project. The position ensures systematic data collection, analysis, and reporting to measure project performance against indicators and targets. The M&E Officer will support evidence-based decision-making, ensure data quality, and contribute to donor reporting and project learning.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement the project Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) system.
· Design and maintain data collection tools, indicators, and reporting frameworks in line with the project logframe.
· Conduct regular monitoring visits to project sites to verify activities and progress.
· Collect, compile, and analyze quantitative and qualitative data from field activities.
· Prepare monthly, quarterly, and final project reports for internal use and donors.
· Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across all reporting systems.
· Maintain and update project databases and tracking tools.
· Support baseline, midline, and endline surveys and evaluations.
· Facilitate feedback and accountability mechanisms for beneficiaries and stakeholders.
· Provide evidence-based recommendations to improve project implementation and decision-making.
