Bachelor’s degree (BSc/BBA) in Communications, Journalism, Media Studies, Public Relations, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in communications, public relations, media relations, advocacy, or marketing, preferably with an international or national NGO.
• Strong knowledge of communication strategies, media engagement, content development, digital communications, social media management, and branding principles.
• Proven experience in producing high-quality communication materials, including reports, press releases, success stories, newsletters, presentations, and visibility products.
• Clear conceptual understanding and practical experience in analyzing the local socio-cultural context, humanitarian and development issues, and stakeholder dynamics in Afghanistan.
• Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate technical information into clear and engaging content for diverse audiences.
• Ability to facilitate meetings, workshops, media events, and stakeholder gatherings to achieve communication and advocacy objectives.
• Experience in photography, videography, and the development of visual communication materials is an asset.
• Strong interpersonal and networking skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with media, donors, partners, and other stakeholders.
