Job Descriptions:

We are looking for an experienced Stock Officer to develop and manage Stock in and outflows, support business objectives, oversee stock storage processes and coordinate the logistics of purchase orders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinating stock control operations with the sales and finance departments.

  • Analyzing supply chain data to ensure the uninterrupted availability of stock.

  • Developing and implementing inventory control systems and practices.

  • Updating inventory count and maintaining inventory records to share with management.

  • Coordinating the logistics of purchase orders, stock transfers, deliveries, tagging, and processing.

  • Performing regular stock checks and reporting any issues to the management

  • Forecasting supply and demand to prevent overstocking and running out-of-stock.

  • Placing and receiving orders to replenish stocks as needed.

  • Tracking shipments and coordinating internal stock transfers, as well as resolving delays.

  • Overseeing stock storage processes, including tagging and labeling.

  • Performing regular inventory audits.

  • Maintaining and updating daily shipment records, records of purchase orders and inventory records.

  • Responsible for actual inventory counts; must be knowledgeable about inventory items to be counted, the counting procedures used, and the location of all inventories.

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in management, business administration, or a related field preferred.

  • Proficiency in inventory management software.

  • 3 to 5 years' experience as a stock controller in a similar industry.

  • In-depth knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices.

  • Great analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.

  • Need strong communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and do business with suppliers and customers. Critical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills are a must.
