Education:
Advanced university degree in a field of study relevant to UNFPA’s mandate, such as sociology, anthropology, social sciences, gender studies, public health, public administration, international relations, international development, law or other related fields.
Knowledge and Experience:
- At least two years professional experience in RH/ GBV programming, protection, gender, or humanitarian response are required.
- Demonstrated experience in RH/ GBV prevention and response programming, including survivor-centered approaches is desirable.
- Experience with PSEAH/safeguarding systems, risk mitigation, and partner compliance is highly desirable.
- Experience working with NGOs and community-based organizations in fragile or humanitarian settings is desirable.
- Knowledge of inter-agency RH/ GBV guidelines, protection principles, and humanitarian coordination mechanisms is desirable.
Languages:
Fluency in English and local language Dari and/or Pashto is required. Working knowledge of other UN languages would be an asset.
