About New Way Social and Development Organization (NSDO):

NSDO is a development, advocacy, and humanitarian organization established in 2011 and registered with the Ministry of Economy, Government of Afghanistan. NSDO is based in Kabul, with programming hubs across the north and northeastern provinces of the country. NSDO strives to empower the vulnerable and marginalized communities suffering from the impacts of war, natural calamities, poverty, and injustice. Job Descriptions:

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver Training of Trainers (ToT) sessions for field trainers, ensuring they acquire the necessary competencies to train participants effectively.
  • Develop, update, and maintain comprehensive training manuals and materials for graphic design, digital marketing, and digital literacy courses in participation of relevant trainings.
  • Provide one-month on-the-job training and mentorship to trainers and participants through structured classes in Kunduz province.
  • Ensure training content is adapted to the local market context and participant needs.
  • Monitor and evaluate training delivery, providing feedback and support to field trainers.
  • Document participant attendance and progress, and report absenteeism or low attendance causes to the project team and field coordinator.
  • Promote environmental and social safeguarding principles within training sessions.
  • Support participants in applying digital skills to enhance employability, entrepreneurship, and empowerment.
  • Collaborate with project teams to align training activities with UNICEF-EAYDS objectives.

Monitoring & Reporting

  • Maintain training attendance and performance records.
  • Collect and report training data as required.
  • Support assessments and evaluations of trainees.

Coordination

  • Work closely with the Project Manager and field team.
  • Coordinate training schedules and logistics.

Equipment & Lab Management

  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of IT equipment.
  • Report any technical issues promptly.
Job Requirements:

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in delivering IT/digital skills training (particularly on the graphic desing)
  • Experience working with NGOs/INGOs is an asset.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of digital literacy and computer applications.
  • Excellent training and facilitation skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to engage and motivate youth learners.
  • Strong organizational and reporting skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability.

Languages

  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).
  • Knowledge of Dari and/or Pashto is required.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Number of trainings delivered successfully.
  • Participant satisfaction and learning outcomes.
  • Quality of reporting and documentation.

Working Conditions

Based in Kunduz Province with possible travel to training sites.
