About Khana-e-Noor Educational Network (KEN)
Khana-e-Noor Educational Network (KEN) began its journey over a decade ago, following the expansion of private sector opportunities in Afghanistan’s education system. Established in response to the growing demand among parents in Kabul for quality education, KEN has steadily grown into one of the country’s leading educational networks.
Over the years, KEN has expanded its presence beyond Kabul to Balkh province, now serving more than 6,000 students from across Afghanistan. With a diverse staff representing over 25 provinces, KEN stands as a unique and nationally representative educational institution.
One of KEN’s defining strengths is its innovative and blended curriculum, which combines the internationally recognized Cambridge curriculum with Afghanistan’s national curriculum. This integrated approach, along with a strong emphasis on co-curricular activities, has earned the network a reputation for academic excellence and reliability.
KEN places a strong focus on bilingual and multilingual education. Through the guidance of experienced and specialized teachers, students actively engage in four languages, helping them develop into culturally aware, globally minded individuals prepared for the challenges of the modern world.
The network offers a comprehensive educational pathway, beginning from pre-school through Grade 12, and extending into four-year bachelor’s degree programs at the university level. KEN is committed to nurturing students intellectually, aesthetically, physically, and spiritually within a culturally diverse and inclusive environment.
Guided by the core principles of truth, simplicity, and peaceful conflict resolution, KEN provides a challenging and supportive learning environment. Its mission is to develop not only academic excellence but also strong ethical values and social responsibility—preparing graduates to become future leaders who contribute meaningfully to their communities and to humanity as a whole.
