About ACDO:

Asia Community Development Organization (ACDO) is an Afghan non-governmental, non-political, and non-profit humanitarian organization established in 2014 and registered with the Government of Afghanistan under the supervision of Ministry of Economy (MoEc) with a mission to provide humanitarian and development assistance to the vulnerable, at-risk, and underserved people throughout the country.

ACDO responds to the needs of deprived and marginalized rural and urban communities by managing and utilizing the available scarce resources in a well-organized, efficient, effective, transparent, and dignified manner to enhance resilience, boost access to education, health services, and infrastructure, ensure food and livelihood security, and promote social protection and inclusion.

Job Descriptions:

The Master Trainer will design and deliver farmer training program using Field trainings and Training of Trainers (ToT) methodologies.

Develop training curricula and learning materials
Deliver trainings on crop production, irrigation management, IPM, and soil fertility
Build capacity of community facilitators and lead farmers
Conduct pre- and post-training assessments
Ensure inclusive participation, including women and vulnerable groups
Support field follow-up and adoption monitoring
Contribute to technical reporting and documentation
Perform any other related tasks assigned by the supervisor/SMT.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or related field (Master’s preferred)
Minimum 7 years of relevant experience
Strong experience in adult learning and participatory training approaches
Field-based experience in rural Afghanistan preferred
Training and facilitation
Community engagement
Practical field orientation

Skills:

Strong oral and written communication skills in Dari and Pashto, English skills will be an asset.
Knowledge of the community structure, dynamics, and development.
At least 4 years of experience working with government and/or NGOs in hygiene promotion in the fragile environment/region.
Knowledge of the value of education in Holy Islam, child development, and the current trends of education in Afghanistan.
Ability to cope well under pressure, work irregular hours, and meet tight deadlines.
Sound organizational skills and ability to prioritize and deliver assignments promptly often under severe time pressures.
Experience in needs assessment, project monitoring & evaluation, and program development
Good knowledge and experience in Afghanistan Humanitarian system/context, WASH and Emergencies.
Experience in coordination with government authorities, communities, donors, and beneficiaries.

Language skills:

Fluent oral and written skills in Dari and Pashto, fluent in English will be a plus point
